Quick Buying Guide

Use Energizer class (J) Notes
10–40 acres 1–3 J Short runs; good grounding
40–160 acres 3–8 J Perimeter + paddocks
160+ acres 8–28 J Long lines; vegetation load

Most weak fences trace back to grounding. Use three 6–8 ft rods, ~10 ft apart.

Install & Use

  1. Drive ground rods; bond with proper clamps and wire.
  2. Mount energizer under cover (AC/battery/solar).
  3. Set post spacing; run wire/tape; add gates & cut-outs.
  4. Test voltage; clear shorts at joins, gates, vegetation.
